51 Shades Conference

Our second annual Green Arts Conference, 51 Shades of Green, took place on the 27th of October 2016, at the Pearce Institute in Glasgow.

Over the course of the day, we had 17 speakers and 9 stallholders present on their approaches to environmental sustainability in the arts, and over 100 attendees from arts organisations across Scotland attended.

Topics ranged across energy, waste, water, travel, staff engagement, policy and collaboration, and there were plenty of spontaneous discussions around the new ideas bubbling up in the sector!

It was fantastic to see how many individuals and organisations are committed to reducing their environmental impact, and interested in learning more about what others are doing! Here is a delegate list of all that attended:

You can find out more about what took place on the day by search ‘@CCScotland’ or ‘#greenarts’ on Twitter.

We’ve also produced a conference report on the day, detailing some of the content of the many sessions.
