Working for Creative Carbon Scotland
CCS aims to be an open, collaborative employer where the team knows they are supported, valued and respected. We offer flexible working arrangements to balance employees’ personal circumstances with the needs of the organisation, and we facilitate team and individual training and development opportunities.
CCS is committed to actively promoting equality and diversity in all our work, events and recruitment processes. We recognise that a diverse and inclusive movement is critical to solving climate change and that we must ensure that those directly impacted – particularly those who have been excluded in the past – are at the centre of the movement for change. We value the range of views and experiences that our team members, sector colleagues and all those we work with contribute to our thinking. Read our Equalities policy.
CCS offers a range of staff benefits including: annual salary increments, a workplace pension scheme, a salary sacrifice scheme for bicycles and IT equipment, confidential access to mental health counselling, and a WFH heating & lighting allowance.
Living wage
We are an accredited Living Wage employer.
Work experience, internships and freelance opportunities
As part of our commitment to social and economic sustainability (as well as the environmental), we offer unpaid work experience, internships or work placement opportunities only rarely and only in collaboration with educational institutions.
Partnerships with academic institutions occasionally support us to offer paid student internships.
We also sometimes have freelance opportunities, which are advertised on this page, on our website homepage and through our social media channels.
