COP26 is taking place in Glasgow in November 2021 and apparently it’s going ahead no matter what! It’s going to be a bumpy road ahead and we’re all going to need as much mutual help and support as we can get to pull off everything that’s being planned.
This get-together came out of the #arts4cop26 Facebook group, but it’s open to anyone with an interest. It’ll be a chance to:
- Get an update on what’s actually going on with COP26 from people in the know
- Have some time to discuss general issues around or specific plans for COP26
- Meet others, make connections, and hear about all the great things that are going on
This is not, repeat NOT, taking place through Zoom, but through a beautiful virtual space that you can freely wander around in. We hope that this will provide an easier environment to meet and chat and recreate at least something of the social space that we’re not able to get at the moment. It’s easy to join: sign up on Eventbrite and then just click the link that you will receive by email on the day of the event. This email will also include further information about how to use the platform.
There will be time during the get-together to split up into groups to chat about particular issues. If there is a theme that you would like to lead a discussion on, please get in touch with lewis.coenen-rowe@creativecarbonscotland.com and we can make sure to include this.
If you have any questions, do feel free to get in touch.
