Circular economy and the cultural sector

Circular Economy & the Cultural Sector

How can we apply circular economy practices and principles within the cultural sector? Thursday 26th August 2021, 10am-11.15am.

Our August meetup will explore some circular cultural initiatives that are already happening in the cultural sector, then give participants the opportunity to discuss and imagine how to expand upon these.

Dr Jane Beasley, who has been working with Community Resources Network Scotland on a report for Creative Scotland, will present her findings so far on circular economy initiatives within the cultural sector.

We will also hear from a member of the new Circular Arts Network about their aspiration to develop a storage and sharing network for the cultural sector in Scotland.

Book your ticket via Eventbrite.

This online event is for Green Arts Initiative members. If you work for a cultural organisation, which is not yet a member of the Green Arts Initiative, you can join the initiative here.

Participants are asked to read and abide by Creative Carbon Scotland’s statement on Safe Working Spaces.
