Green Arts October online meetup

Graphic designed flyer for Green Arts October 2020 meetup

Members of the Green Arts Initiative are invited to join us for our October online meetup.

At this time it feels more important than ever to keep in touch with other cultural organisations, and not work in a silo. This informal morning meetup provides a space for members of the Green Arts Initiative to reconnect, share problems and ideas and learn about what others are doing and planning.

Unlike previous Green Arts Meetups, this one doesn’t have a set theme, and there won’t be a presentation from a speaker. We want it to be useful for you, so please come with an issue (loosely related to sustainability and the culture sector, and possibly Covid) that you would like to discuss. We may not get to everyone’s, but we’ll try.

Book your space through Eventbrite and you will receive a link to join an online call, which will be sent out again 10 minutes before the meetup. You do not need to download an app or programme to join the call; you just need a computer or other device with internet connection, speakers, and a microphone.

Green Arts Meetups are informal online gatherings for staff of Scotland’s arts and culture organisations, each focusing on different aspects of the intersection between culture and environment. Started at the beginning of lockdown, they are a chance for members of the Green Arts Initiative to keep in touch with each other and continue to share green arts skills and knowledge. Please contact if you have any questions about an upcoming Meetup, or if you would like to suggest a future meetup topic or event co-host a meetup!

This online event is for Green Arts Initiative members. If you work for a cultural organisation, which is not yet a member of the Green Arts Initiative, you can join the initiative here.
