Creative Carbon Scotland is excited to bring you their next Green Tease event in collaboration with active travel charity, Sustrans.
The need to help people travel differently is vital if we are to transition to a more environmentally sustainable society, with cars, trucks, taxis, buses, vans and other forms of road transport now the largest source of climate change causing emissions in Scotland.
In this discussion event we’ll explore the potential opportunities for artistic practices and public art to contribute to active travel projects and the movement towards a better, more environmentally sustainable Scotland. We will have contributions from Cosmo Blake, Arts & Diversity Officer, Sustrans, and Ben Spencer, independent arts producer and consultant.
The event starts at 3pm and will include presentations, guided discussion and time for refreshments and reflection. We will finish at 5pm with the potential for further networking. Please join us if you would like to contribute to this discussion, share your own ideas, learn from others and make new connections.
