Join the next Starcatchers Playday!
We’re in a climate crisis. It’s time to ask some important questions and embrace some radical changes. We need our storytellers, movers, listeners, responders, makers, imaginers, creators, truth protectors and joy-finders more than ever. Art and creativity have always flourished in times of crisis and it’s more important than ever to make sure everyone has a seat at the table (even the babies). But how do we envision that in Arts for Early Years? What action can we take? What happens when we look at our practice anew through “globe-tinted goggles”?
Join Hazel Darwin-Clement to explore our role as artists in this green revolution in our next artist’s playday on Thursday 16th January, 2pm-6pm at the Main Hall in Summerhall.
Playspace is Starcatchers’ artist development programme for artists committed to working with or developing work for babies and young children. We support artists across all art forms at different stages of their careers – from those interested in learning more about working with this age group to those who are experienced and want to develop their practice.
