What is GAP?

What is GAP?
The Green Arts Portal is a unique online resource designed to provide artists and arts organisations with the technical support to manage and reduce their carbon footprint and track environmental progress. Our ambition is for GAP to become a hub for sustainable practice in the arts in Scotland through the spreading of knowledge, expertise and best practice.

Who is GAP for?
GAP is for anyone working in the arts in Scotland interested in measuring and reducing their environmental impact. Our funding currently supports us to provide GAP free of charge to Creative Scotland and City of Edinburgh Council funded organisations. Other local authorities, educational and other organisations therefore may be asked to pay a small fee for their use of GAP to cover our costs.
