A new crowdfunding platform has been launched to support social and environmental projects.

In an effort to support grassroots funding and support to projects rooted in social inclusion and environmental sustainability, a new crowdfunding platform has been launched that offers a range of different support. As well as seeking to help authors from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds publish books on the same themes, the platform is Scottish-based and Scottish-created, from Glasgow. The first campaigns there are also based in Scotland.

Free to use with access to match funding opportunities, this platforms hopes to support a plethora of projects and publications both across Scotland and around the world. Each campaign, after being approved, is given access to 1-1 support, insights and publicity options – with the aim being that every single project achieves its funding target. There is also a focus on projects and publications by people with lived experience of the issues they are seeking to resolve or write about.
