News: Green Crafts member awarded new Craft Scotland Graduate Award

One of the four talented awardees of the Craft Scotland Graduate Award is Shirley Warnock-Lowe, a member of the Green Crafts Initiative.

Shirley Warnock-Lowe, a graduate from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, was awarded with one of four Craft Scotland Graduate Awards this year, a new initiative that recognises exceptional talent emerging from Scotland’s art colleges.

Shirley is a member of the Green Crafts Initiative and is an Ambassador for Ethical Making with the Incorporation of Goldsmiths. In her practice, she is committed to the goal of creating zero-waste jewellery and proves that beautiful objects can be made with a low environmental impact.
