The CSGN Ideas Fund was introduced in 2013. The aim of the CSGN Ideas Fund is to support the development of innovative concepts/projects. Eligible projects would include research, feasibility studies, study trips to bring back good practice, project development or project delivery.
In keeping with this year’s focus on Innovation, Architecture and Design, eligible projects should have a creative professional integral to the development or delivery of the idea which must make a contribution to green infrastructure/greenspace. Applications can include research, feasibility studies, study trips to bring back good practice, project development, testing or project delivery.
Eligible applicants will include all CSGN stakeholders and partners, local authorities, academic institutions, NGOs, professional, private and community interests.
Entries from previous years should not be resubmitted unless they have been substantially changed.
Applications and Procedures
The CSGN Ideas Fund is allocated to a successful project during the CSGN Forum. Entries are shortlisted in advance of the event and the best three projects will go forward for presentation on the day of the Forum. Representatives of the three projects will have the chance to make a presentation about their proposal after which they will answer questions from our audience. Delegates will then vote for their preferred concept. The winner will receive up to £5,000 to develop their concept/project. The final decision on the value of funding is made by the CSGNT Chair after the conference and depends on the viability and actual costs to take the project forward.
CSGN Ideas Fund 2016 application form
Applications should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org to arrive no later than noon on 6 June 2016. Applicants must be available to present their idea at the CSGN Forum in Glasgow on 21 June 2016.
