Case Study: Improved Recycling- Assembly Rooms

21st December 2012

The Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh has been working in collaboration with its waste contractor Shanks to produce effective recycling signage for its staff and audiences.

It has produced clear signage through use of pictures and Polish and Spanish translations of the different forms of recycling to help all staff members. In addition, it has created an ‘Unknown’ bin for anything that staff or audiences are unsure of to prevent contamination of other bins.
